La granadella Trail 2026 was held this weekend in Xàbia, marked by strong winds and a declared weather alert, a scenario that forced the organizers to readjust schedules and concentrate the three main events into one day.
Despite the circumstances, the meeting went ahead thanks to work coordinated by Llebeig Sports Club, the services of safety and emergencies and the device of volunteer peopleThe organizers emphasized this point, also expressing their gratitude for the effort and respect shown by the runners during the race.
Nearly a thousand runners in the 2026 edition
The three major races brought together more than 800 athletes, to which was added the large group of Xàbia schoolchildren who participated in the trail mini held on Saturday in the vicinity of Pinosol Park.
The main change affected the Sprint Trail, initially scheduled for Saturday morning and finally postponed due to the gale to ensure the safety of athletes and personnel involved.
21K, the main event: Adrián Ivars and Rosa Lara win decisively
The star event, the half marathon of 21 kilometers y 1.100 meters of positive height difference, crowned as absolute victors Adrian Ivars (1: 46: 17) and Lara Rose (1:55:24), who also recorded the fourth fastest time of the entire race. They shared the podium with Ivars.
