Xàbia will start the first cleaning day of the year in 2025, organized by the Services and Environment departments of the Javea Town Hall, in collaboration with Libera, SEO BirdLife and Ecoembes. This initiative represents an opportunity to collaborate in protecting the environment and contribute to keeping natural spaces free of waste.

Why do we pay taxes? They are supposed to be for this purpose and should be used for this and not to indoctrinate children in schools with the subject of Valencian, for example. How is it possible that people want to help with the cleaning that is the responsibility of the city council? The next thing will be that we have to patrol the streets because the local police is not efficient (nor empathetic)? For that, they should privatize everything and then at least we can choose which company gives us the best service. The people who go to help can put on a medal that day but they do not realize that they are playing a dirty game for the city council on duty that knows that it can exempt itself from this responsibility, since when it comes to charging for parking in the coves it does feel sovereign and is the first to come. Although that charge does not solve anything since people continue to park badly and there is overcrowding, so now you pay for the same thing.
