El Club Nautico de Javea celebrated its 15st Sailing Week from August 23 to 51, an event that brings together sailors from all over the Valencian Community each year to compete in different categories and levels.

One of the most anticipated events was the Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy, held on August 21 and 22. This historic cruising-class regatta, which counts toward the Level 1 Regional Cup, stood out for the quality of its fleet, with boats that had won in previous editions and in regional and national competitions. The regatta was divided into two fleets: Lipton Regatta and Lipton Club.

On the first day, the Lipton Regatta fleet stayed in the bay, completing two legs. The Lipton Club fleet sailed to Cabo de la Nao. On the second day, both fleets competed in a triangular course in the bay.

Seventeen boats participated in the Lipton Regatta, divided into two ORC categories. In ORC 17, the Lassal team from the Real Club Náutico de Valencia took the victory, followed by Espitós Un from the Club Náutico de Oliva, and Ascaló from the Club Náutico de Jávea. In ORC 2, the victory went to Team Tac from the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, while Va de Bó from the Club Náutico de Vilajoyosa took second place, and Jerónimo III, also from the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, completed the podium.

In the Lipton Club category, the ORC 1 winners were San Jaime, in first place, followed by Alvedro II and Compás. In ORC 2, Tikehau took the victory, with Crysel in second and Future in third.
In the overall standings, Team Tac was declared the winner.
