26 June 2025 - 12: 56

El PSOE The Xàbia branch of the party presented a new executive committee on Monday with the aim of tackling the second half of the legislative term and preparing for the next municipal elections in 2027. At a press conference, the party's general secretary, José Chulvi, highlighted the importance of the change in the presidency, which goes from George thomas a Isabel Bolufer, who is entrusted with the task of leading the party in the coming years.

Internal renewal and continuity in the opposition

In his speech, chulvi thanked the work de Thomas, underlining his “enormous involvement” and the effort that, he pointed out, contributed to the consolidation of the PSOE as the leading force political Xàbia. “When George took office, this party was nowhere near as successful as it is today.”, declared chulvi, who also recalled the three best electoral results in the history of the municipality, with 14 councilors in 2015, 11 in 2019 and 9 in 2023.

A leaner, more operational executive

The executive committee presented today has a smaller, more operational format, aiming to improve coordination between the party's various sectoral groups. The new executive committee will be composed of Isabel Bolufer as president, José Chulvi as secretary general, Montse Villaverde as secretary of organization, and Javier Bonet as secretary of electoral action and program. In addition, Kika Mata will be the secretary of revitalization and mobilization, Ximo Segarra the secretary of administration, Cesc Camprubí the municipal policy secretary, Olga Sales the secretary of attention to militancy, Rita Berruti the secretary for coordination of sectoral groups, and Joseph Vicent Miralles will serve as communications secretary and spokesperson.

The event also served as an opportunity for the PSOE of Xàbia to critically assess the current municipal government's management. According to the party's statement, the legislature has passed its halfway point with a government "paralyzed", in which only issues that were promoted by the previous government or by the Socialist Municipal Group itself from the opposition have advanced. Among these achievements, the PSOE highlighted the moratorium on the granting of tourist housing, the declaration of the year Antoni Llidó, the support for Valencian in the education. and the management of the desalination plant by AMJASA.

The PSOE also criticized the lack of action on key issues, such as the protection of coves, the chaos in communications, and the crisis generated by the management of the desalination plant. The party also denounced the growing political tension, with “insults to officials” and an unprecedented pace of construction in the municipality.

«In Jávea, the socialist José Chulvi—for years a strongman of the PSOE in the province of Alicante and current deputy spokesperson in the regional parliament—awarded the company under investigation by the Supreme Court the restoration of a bridge in 2018 for 399.947 euros, a contract that ultimately remained unexecuted, as revealed by THE OBJECTIVE.»

Chulvi, and others, always supercritics with others.
I shamelessly obliterate the seues errors and deficiencies, the non-compliances and advertising vanaglories.
Ara, a little seriousness and self-criticism. It's the one that cal fer. .

A curious case in which the company not only doesn't take a single cent from the Xàbia City Council, but also pays all the residents 16.000 euros to abandon the project. That's also what THE OJETE says? 😉

    • What things says:

Come on, did they give you euros for not doing the work? It must be because you're one of the dirty ones, and you're always scraping by.
What we see is that El Chungui was involved in Ábalos's business (and for a change, another work went wrong for him, strange given that he is so competent).

      • Jaume says:

And to you too, dear, because that money went to the City Council. That is, to all the residents of Xàbia. Cheer up, one day you'll finish school and you'll understand.

      • What things says:

The project was for the Triana Bridge, and it's done. Best regards.

Don't forget Contratas Vilor, the swimming pool company, which has also been tainted by corruption cases.
We have two companies in Jávea contracted by the PSOE related to corruption.
It would be nice if they got some information out about the Vilor company.

  5. Xavi says:

As a corrupt company, Acciona takes the cake. And be careful, because Ponset and Rosa signed with Acciona. Is that what some are suggesting? Because it amounts to the same thing...

There are still too many people... I have half the people left!!
