When is celebrated

In 2026, the decision was made to once again open the main event of the Mig Any to the general public. This marked a return to tradition for the festivities of the cross and the crescent moon. Therefore, this year, the Mig Any will feature a festival tent on Avenida Lepanto, concentrating all the celebrations in the streets of Duanes de la Mar.

Mig Any Programming
The Mig Any festivities begin on Friday night, this 2026 with the traditional informal appetizers which winds through some streets of the Duanes de la Mar fishing district. This event was revived in 2023 after being discontinued for several years. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, in 2021, the Board of Festes de Moros i Cristians de Xàbia decided to suspend the celebration of the acts of the Mig Any Fester.
