From Xàbia to the major training venues
Barclay struck his first blows in the Academy of David Ferrer And, over the years, he has gained experience on the competitive calendar. Among his outstanding results is the Spanish Championship by teams in the under-12 category, representing Club of Tennis Valencia, in addition to having been fourth finalist in a Spanish Championship also in the children's category.
He currently trains at the La Marina Academy CH2 under the direction of Chus Contreras, national technician linked to the CH2 La Marina sports project.
Goal achieved: qualifying for 'Les Petits As'
One of the recent milestones in his journey has been his participation in the European qualifying process for the prestigious tournament 'Les Petits As', which is being contested in Tarbes (France) He is considered one of the leading figures in international youth tennis. These days he has competed in Valencia in a test of the circuit Sub-14 linked to Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Conde de Godó Trophy, a tour that travels through several provinces and culminates with a final phase in Barcelona during the week of the ATP 500.
