Cristóbal Cholbi, the driver from Xàbia, reinforced his position at the top of the overall standings in the Senior B category of the Valencian Community Cross Country Championship, after completing an outstanding performance in the last race held.
The race, which lasted an hour and a half, took place on a fast, highly technical circuit, characterized by its distinct motocross style. After a good start, Cholbi steadily climbed the ranks to reach third position.
With two laps to go, the driver from Xàbia managed to catch up to the second-placed driver, initiating an intense battle for position. Despite their efforts, the lack of track space prevented them from overtaking, and the positions remained unchanged until the checkered flag. Both drivers congratulated each other at the end of the race for the sportsmanship and excitement of the duel.
With this result, Cholbi extends its lead in the regional general classification, consolidating its leadership in the category.
The next event in the championship will be in Sant Mateu, where the Enduro modality will be contested, a discipline in which the rider currently competes in third position.
