Last Saturday, the event was held in Alcoy. Provincial Individual Base in the Pre-Benjamin and Benjamin categories. The gymnasts traveled there from Club Gimnàstica Rhythmic Xàbiawho faced the day with determination despite the cold.
In category PrebenjamínIris achieved 17th place and Belle finished in 20th. Both performed their routines "with great character and hardly any mistakes," showing confidence on the mat in a particularly demanding competition.
Elena, for her part, finished in 21st position. It wasn't her best performance, but she achieved a key objective: the qualifying for the Regional Championshipwhich will be held in Benidorm in two weeks. A result that allows the club to maintain its representation in the next phase.
In category BenjaminDafne delivered a great performance. However, the high level of competition in this age group prevented her from qualifying for the next round. Despite this, her performance reflected the work done during the season.
Sunday was the turn of the category YoungstersMaría Castillo and Emma Catalá competed with their individual hoop routines. It wasn't their best performance, but both completed their routines, fighting until the very end.
María Castillo finished in 32nd place, while Emma Catalá finished in 34th. Neither of them qualified for the regional championship, despite a season in which they showed remarkable improvement.
