CD Jávea faces its first official test of the season. The team, managed by Julio Ivorra, finished preseason with positive feelings regarding the work completed, although with several physical discomforts that have affected the preparation for the league opener.
The Rojiblanco coach acknowledges that the team is eager to start the competition and speaks highly of the weeks of preparation. "We're really looking forward to the real action. The team's work and attitude during preseason has been excellent, and we believe we're ready to face this demanding season," Ivorra says.
Criticism of the 12:00 pm schedule
One of the aspects that most concerns the coach is the scheduled time for the match. The game will be played this Sunday at 12:00 pm at the Guillermo Amor stadium in Benidorm, with the referee Nestor de LaraIn the middle of the day and with temperatures still high. Ivorra says that CD Jávea has already conveyed their disagreement with the schedule to Benidorm and believes that the regulations should establish stricter limits to protect the players.
"For me, it's a problem with the regulations. The Federation should be the one acting in cases like this. At the professional level, everything related to the health and integrity of the player is scrutinized very closely, so why isn't the same done at the amateur level?" he asks.
The coach insists that his criticism is not intended as an excuse before the match, but rather to open a debate about the protection of players, referees, and fans: "Playing at that time in this heat is not protecting the CP Football "Nor to the players, referees, or fans. We shouldn't wait for tragedies to happen before taking action," he adds.
Several players out and their condition is being monitored.
The preseason has also taken its toll in the form of injuries and discomfort. In the last friendly match, CD Jávea was without [players]. Ruano, Pablo, Adrián and MejiAnd some players remain doubtful for Sunday's match. Ivorra admits that this situation has hampered the week's preparations: "We're arriving with several players out and with players whose availability we won't know until the last minute. It's a real headache not being able to work on the match during the week as we wanted," he explains.
Even so, the coach has faith in the available players and assures that those who take to the field "will give their best."
The goal: to fight for the top spots
Beyond the debut, CD Jávea faces the season with ambition. Julio Ivorra is pleased with the squad he and Rubén have assembled and makes no secret of the fact that the objective is to compete for the top spots in the standings, despite the level of their rivals.
"We are happy with the squad and the goal is to be at the top, even knowing how difficult it will be because of the level of the teams this year," he says.
The coach positions Benidorm, Alzira and Tavernes Among the teams expected to play a leading role this season, although he warns that Jávea intends to make it difficult for them. "As the matches progress, we'll see what our level is and how far we can go," Ivorra adds.
Turn the Municipal Stadium into a fortress
Ivorra also addressed the Rojiblancos' fans ahead of what promises to be a demanding season. The manager considers the support from the stands crucial and hopes that the Municipal Stadium in Xàbia will become one of the team's strengths. "I encourage all the fans to come to the stadium every match to support us. We need to make the Municipal Stadium a fortress," he concluded.
