4-year-old students of CEIP Graüll Xàbia is participating for the second consecutive year in the international open-air textile art exhibition L'Art al Ventwhich takes place every summer in the streets of Gata de Gorgos. This year, the school presents the artistic proposal entitled "Entrellaçant històries" (Interweaving Histories), a collective work that intertwines the personal experiences of the children and their families.
A project that intertwines human stories and reflections
The participation of CEIP Graüll en L'Art al Vent It continues an initiative begun the previous year with the work Teixim vincleswhich already explored reflection on human relationships. For this new edition, the "Entrellaçant històries" project starts from a simple and meaningful idea.
Each boy and girl, in collaboration with their family, wrote a history personal items were placed on a satin ribbon. Subsequently, these ribbons were manually intertwined in the classroom, simulating a large loom, until they formed a single collective piece.
Children's creativity sharing international space
The result is a vibrant work, full of color and movement, where each ribbon holds a unique experience. However, its full meaning is achieved when it is joined with the others, symbolizing the interconnectedness of personal experiences.
The young artists have had the opportunity to see their creation displayed among the facades of the historic center of Gata de Gorgos. There, their work shares space with pieces by artists from various countries, such as Egypt, Mexico, Italy, and Portugal, demonstrating that creativity knows no age limits.
