La Councilor for Culture, Mavi Pérez, along with the organization's representative, Toni Torregrosa, and members of Romantic SaladarTolo Bas and Joan Buigues have presented the new edition of the festival, the 24th, which will take place on April 17 and on May 8, 9 and 10 in different spaces of the municipality.
During the presentation, the consolidation of Xàbia Folk as a benchmark event within the cultural scene was highlighted, as well as the quality and diversity of a program that combines Valencian proposals with groups from other territories.
The 2026 lineup includes three Valencian bands: Troubadours, Jorge Gumbau y It's about Gifts, which represent different areas of Valencian folk music, from the The music The program includes everything from family-friendly songs to popular and traditional tunes. Programme
The festival will start on April 17 with a triple session. At 12:00 noon, in the Plaza de la Iglesia, Troubadours Creixem will present an educational and participatory show aimed at families. This afternoon, at 19:30 p.m. at the House of Culture, Jorge Gumbau Barreja will offer his first work A record label, inspired by Valencian oral tradition. The day will conclude at 22:30 p.m., again in the Plaza de la Iglesia, with The Baula and his proposal Songs in the shadow.
The festival will continue on May 8th in the Plaza de la Constitución with karment, which will present The Serrana and will feature the special collaboration of La Romàntica del Saladar on some pieces. The organizers have emphasized that Xàbia Folk maintains its essence of recovering, dignifying, and promoting folk music, connecting tradition and contemporary expression.
