The Círculo Podemos Xàbia Group has shown its disagreement with the 9 Awards of October Vila de Xàbia Which was approved in plenary session, unanimously by all councilors of the municipal corporation.
The decision was to award the prize for solidarity values to the United Nations NGO, UNHCR, in recognition of its work with the refugees, which they recognize from We, but consider that
"This award is a little out of context, when without leaving our locality or in a closer, regional, provincial or community environment we would have NGOs, associations, people and some other initiative, possibly more in need and deserving of such a distinction."
Regarding the distinction for civic values awarded to the Brotherhood of Jesús NazarenoPodemos Xàbia points out regarding this award that "it should be given to the entire association as a whole, men and women of the Brotherhood of Jesus Nazareno, making it clear and visible that there is no discrimination against men and women, thus complying with the Equality Law.
