The event was attended by family, friends and Cáritas volunteers, as well as the mayor of Xàbia. During the event, Cáritas emphasized the social value of these types of initiatives, highlighting that, in contrast to a society which sometimes raises barriers, volunteering must be able to building bridges with the parish community and to make visible that what affects the most vulnerable people also matters to society as a whole.

With this second edition of the course, Interparish Caritas of Xàbia It reinforces its commitment to training, job placement and care for vulnerable groups, while promoting specific training in the field of elderly care, a key sector from a social and welfare point of view.
