Begoña and Elena Pérez Manglano, from the Jávea Nautical Club, have been called up to the Spanish ILCA 4 team for the World and European Championships

The sailors of Club Nautico de Javea, Begoña Pérez Manglano Sánchez and Elena Pérez Manglano Sánchez, have been selected to be part of the national team of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation in the class ILCA4, a pre-Olympic dinghy sailing discipline.

Both will compete this season in two of the main events on the international calendar: the World championshipTo be held in Aarhus (Denmark) from August 1 to 9, as well as the European Championship, planned from April 11-18 in Los Alcázares (Murcia).

The call from the national federation is a direct consequence of the outstanding results obtained by the two athletes during the season, both in the Spain Cup and the ILCA 4 Spanish ChampionshipIn these competitions, Begoña Pérez Manglano was proclaimed runner-up in Spain in both events, an achievement that reflects the high competitive level reached and the consistency shown throughout the course.
